Jonathan Eric Merrill

Jonathan Eric Merrill, of Concord, NH, drifted into eternal peace surrounded by his family on May, 28th, 2019. Born on May 12th 1977 in Burlington VT, the beloved son of Edward F. Merrill Jr. and Deborah L. Merrill April 26th 2003 in Burlington, VT., he became Husband, best friend, soulmate, lifelong Love, and King to Jessica J. Merrill. A lover of life and all things with a heartbeat, Jonathan loved his family over anything, Jessica (his Queen) and his two JEMS (Jace and Jacoby) were always first. His dedication and passion for family was evident to anyone who met him. Jonathan could be found at any given time cheering on anyone or anything that needed encouragement. Whether it be a caterpillar, neighbor, or a perfect stranger, Jonathan was a loud and passionate cheerleader. He loved life to the fullest, always looking for a way to pay it forward and be selfless and kind. He was loved by all and gave the best hugs, just like a teddy bear. His love of life lead to many memories and blessings to everyone he touched. Jonathan chatted with Debbie, his mother, on Monday night and agreed to meet at the gates on Tuesday. She escorted him peacefully into the arms of The Father. It is only fitting that our mother came to guide him in this journey. In addition to his Wife Jessica, and two sons, Jace and Jacoby, Jonathan is survived by his father Edward Merrill of Champlain NY, brother Jason Merrill of Woodstock, VT, Nephew Jacob Ellis Merrill of Woodstock, VT, Mother-In-Law Leona Minard of West Rutland, VT, Father-In-Law Edward Minard of West Rutland, VT, Brother-In-Law Jonathan Carrara of Washington, DC, Step-Mother Maureen Merrill of Champlain NY, and countless extended family and friends, most notably his closest friend, Christopher Austin of Florida. Please join Jonathans family at 1pm on Saturday June 1st for a celebration of life at the Cremation Society of New Hampshire, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH 03104. Following the celebration, should you choose to join us, we will gather at Pipedream Brewery located at 49 Harvey Rd, Londonderry, NH for an informal reception to raise a glass in honor of our Superman.
