Jonathan Moreno, known to most as Titi, was born on October 8, 1996, at St Anthony
hospital in Denver, Colorado to parents Joel Moreno and Veronica Garcia. He was born just
one minute after his twin, Joel Moreno. Titi was diagnosed with cerebral palsy when he was
3 months old, at which time Veronica became his primary caregiver and held this role
throughout the remainder of his life. Titi and his family never allowed his diagnosis to be
an excuse to miss out on life. Titi enjoyed traveling going to places like California to visit
Disneyland, Seaworld and Legoland, Mexico to visit his family home in Durango and see the
beaches of Mazatlán, and Florida to experience Disneyworld. His favorite color was always
yellow, and he loved listening to classical and Mexican music. Titi enjoyed a good laugh and
had a contagious smile that was unforgettable. As Titi's cerebral palsy progressed, he was
supported and cared for by his sister, Ashley, aunts Alejandra and Laura and many other
family members. Joel Moreno worked tirelessly in his family fencing business alongside
sons Antonio and Joel and nephews, Nicholas and Sahid to provide for his family and keep
up with medical costs.
Titi is preceded in death by his grandparents Antonio Moreno and Ana Maria Villarreal. Titi
is survived by his mother and father, Joel and Veronica, his brothers Antonio, Joel and
Ronaldo, sister Ashley, grandparents Manuel and Margarita Garcia, Aunts Margarita, Laura
and Ashley Garcia and Uncles Tomas and Juan Manuel Garcia, Jesus Cecenas and Lucio and
Edgar Moreno.
Jonathan gained a special place in the hearts of all involved in his life, especially at his
school and with healthcare staff. To them, he became known as "Jonny". Jonny and his
family would like to say a special thank you to the many medical professionals who took
such wonderful care of him throughout his life. They would especially like to mention Jean,
the home health nurse who cared for Jonny since he was little and Ashley, the ICU nurse at
Memorial Hospital who went above and beyond to make sure he was always shaved,
comfortable and with a stuffed animal. Your kindness and compassion will never be
forgotten.
