Jonathan O. Ostergren

God gained an angel when our dear friend Jonathan "Jon" Ostergren passed away peacefully in his sleep on April 14, 2025, in Plainview, TX. Cremation arrangements are under the supervision of Bartley Funeral Home and Prairie View Crematory of Plainview, TX.
Jonathan was born on October 29, 1974, to Melodie and Rodger Benton in San Jose, California. Jon was a good man and a great father. He was a hard working man who never knew the meaning of the word quit. He never let the weight of the world get him down. He would just push on through with his head held high and a smile on his face. He worked non-stop to make sure his children were taken care of. Even when he found out that he had congestive heart failure, he worked up until he was put on an oxygen machine. That's how dedicated he was to making sure that his family was taken care of. Jon was very flamboyant and was also quite the ladies' man.
Jonathan is preceded in death by his parents, Melodie and Rodger Benton.
Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Michael Kenne of Plainview, TX; his daughter, Angel Ostergren of Plainview, TX; his grandchild, Odin Taitano; his brother, Robert Rowan; and his adopted family friends, Dusten and Samantha Barnes.
