Jonathan Joseph Tabuzo

Jonathan Joseph Gonzaga Tabuzo, aged 31, of Easton, Pennsylvania, passed away on November 21, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of passion, kindness, and brilliance that far exceeded his years.

Born on April 20, 1994, Jon faced great loss early in life with the passing of his mother, Nieves Gonzaga-Tabuzo, but he grew into a man defined not by hardship, but by boundless love, curiosity, and determination. He is survived by his father, Joseph Tabuzo, his mother, Josie Ann Gonzaga-Tabuzo, his beloved husband, Kenneth Tabuzo, and his brothers, John Joseph Tabuzo and James Joseph Tabuzo. He also leaves behind a large extended family-countless aunts, uncles, cousins-and more friends than could ever be numbered.

Jon attended high school at Notre Dame High School and went on to study at Desales University where he earned a degree in Physician Assistant studies. He was a proud and accomplished Physician Assistant specializing in cardiology, where he cared deeply for his patients and colleagues. He worked heroically through the COVID pandemic, and his work was an extension of his extraordinary capacity for empathy and his unwavering belief in helping others.

A man of many passions, Jon embraced the world with an energy uniquely his. He was deeply devoted to music, often filling every space with rhythm, laughter, and light. He was a gifted orator, always ready for a spirited debate or a heartfelt conversation. His sense of justice and equity guided him-he spoke his truth boldly, sometimes loudly, always authentically. He created vibrant media reels on platforms like TikTok and Instagram, where his humor, creativity, and joy offered moments of light to anyone who needed it.

He found strength and community in fitness, becoming an active member of his gym and continually striving to better himself in body and spirit. His friendships were wide and deep; he had a remarkable ability to make every person feel seen, valued, and loved.

Jon loved life fiercely. He embraced the world with a full heart, an unrelenting pursuit of joy, and a courage that inspired everyone fortunate enough to know him. Jon shared this life with his husband, Kenneth Tabuzo, having recently celebrated their marriage in Puerto Vallarta. Together, they shared a love of travel and supported each other in becoming the best versions of themselves.

His absence leaves an immeasurable void, but his spirit-bright, loving, uncompromising-will continue to live on in every life he touched.

A celebration of Jon's life will be held at 1:00 PM on Sunday November 30th at Scanlan's Funeral Home in Pompton Plains, NJ. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the UN Crisis Relief Fund. Your contribution to help end suffering across the globe is something Jon fought for every day.
