Jonathan A. Tibbetts

Jonathan A. Tibbetts, age 46, of Marblehead, passed away on June 20, 2025, in Salem. He was the beloved husband of Nicole (Alberino) Tibbetts and the loving father of Jax and Joshua Tibbetts.
Born in Boston on March 22, 1979, Jonathan was the cherished son of David A. Tibbetts and his wife Susan R. of Plymouth, and the late Phyllis M. (Wells) Tibbetts of New Bedford. He was the dear brother of Michael Tibbetts and his wife Heather, and the late Nicolas Tibbetts. Jonathan was a devoted uncle to Chase and Charles Tibbetts and is also survived by his grandmother, Marie Komer, as well as many loving uncles, aunts, and cousins.
Jonathan grew up in Plymouth and was a proud graduate of Plymouth South High School. He went on to attend the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Finance with a minor in Economics. He built a successful career as a Fund Operations Manager at Fidelity Investments.
While Jonathan achieved much professionally, his greatest joy in life was being a dedicated and loving father to his sons, Jax and Joshua. His family was the center of his world, and his love, guidance, and laughter will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A visitation will be held at the Cartmell Davis Funeral Home, 619 State Rd. (MANOMET) Plymouth, on Friday, June 27th, from 9:00 am till 10:45 am. Followed by a Mass of Christian burial at St. Bonaventure Church, 803 State Rd. (MANOMET) Plymouth, at 11:00 am. Burial will take place at Cedarville Cemetery, Plymouth.
