Dylan Putney Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Cartmell-Davis Funeral & Cremation Service, Inc. - Main Office on May 13, 2025.
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Dylan Thomas Putney, a beloved son, brother, and friend, who left us on May 3rd, 2025, at his home in Carver. Born on April 4th, 1993, in Plymouth, Dylan was the cherished son of Betsy (Burnham) Putney and Randy Putney. He was a proud graduate of Plymouth South High School, Class of 2011, and dedicated his professional life to working with his cousin at Scott's Paving & Sealcoating Inc. in Carver.
Dylan had a passion for life that was evident in everything he did. He found immense joy in fishing, particularly during the cherished moments spent on the water with his brother, where they would embark on tuna fishing adventures aboard his brother's boat Flatliner. These experiences were not just hobbies for Dylan; they were opportunities to bond with family and create lasting memories.
He is survived by his loving mother, Betsy, and her partner, Gregory Tavares, of Plymouth; his father, Randy, and his partner, Carole Nagobads, of Carver; and his brother, Tyler, and sister-in-law, Kayla, of Kingston. Dylan was a proud uncle to his dear nephew, Tyler Jr. and his niece Autumn, who brought him great joy. He is also survived by his grandmother, Joyce Putney, of Carver, along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins who will forever hold him in their hearts.
Dylan's spirit and warmth touched the lives of many, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Private services will be held, with a Celebration of Life planned for a later date. Dylan will be cremated at Vine Hills Crematory in Plymouth.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Cartmell-Davis Life Celebration Funeral Homes in Plymouth. As we remember Dylan, let us celebrate the love he shared and the memories he created, keeping his spirit alive in our hearts.
