John was born on September 13, 1959, in San Jose, California to the late Donald and Janice Aure. He married Kathy A'day on August 21, 1981. John enjoyed outdoor activities including pheasant hunting, fishing, and playing golf. John was a devout Christian and a member of Stonewater Church in Granbury. Most of all, John will be remembered as a family oriented man who loved spending time with his family – particularly with his grandchildren.
John is survived by his loving wife, Kathy Marie; his sons, Russell Robertson and Michael and wife Sunnee Aure; and by his 4 grandchildren, Ahna-Li Aure, Nolan Aure, Hailey Robertson, and Abby Robertson.
In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his brother, Curt Aure and by his sister, Sherline Aure.
