Jordan Emery Fass, cherished son of Jane (Rublee) Fass and the late James W. Fass, left this life as he knew it on Sunday, January 26, at the young age of 40. He was born in Hartford on June 22, 1984 and grew up in the town of Erin. He attended Erin Elementary School and Hartford Union High School, class of 2003. He further attended courses at Moraine Park Technical College in West Bend, Portage, and Madison.
Jordan was always adventurous and loved the outdoors, He loved camping, hiking, and looked forward to family vacations. He also loved animals. He would always be bringing home a wild animal that he either found out in the woods or in a nest, only to be told he had to return it to where it was found. In his later years, he enjoyed looking for morel mushrooms and it became a yearly passion of his.
Jordan was very athletic. Throughout his youth he played soccer, baseball and wrestled. He won many medals and trophies for his achievements. After high school, he got interested in Mixed Martial Arts. He spent many countless hours and years training at gyms in Wisconsin and at home. He became quite good and very knowledgeable in the sport. He fought several cage fights in Wisconsin and out of state as well. He was very passionate and dedicated to the sport. He had high hopes. His dream was to win the Ultimate Fighter Championship and one day open up his own gym. He had mentioned wanting to write an inspiration book to give hope to those who have the same dream.
Jordan learned the carpentry trade and worked for Rich Arndorfer Construction. He then purchased his first home, a condo, in Pewaukee. He lived there a few years and decided he wanted to try living elsewhere, preferably somewhere warm. So, he moved to Texas and bought a home near the gulf. He did extensive work on it which he was very proud of.
Jordan grew up hunting and fishing with his dad and brother. He hunted deer and turkey, and especially loved ice fishing. In the last few years, there were many special times spent with his mom ice fishing on his trips back to Wisconsin. He would fish all day and night if he could.
He overcame many obstacles in his life, but always pushed forward. He will be remembered for his good heart and sense of humor. Jordan was a sensitive, funny, very smart, and overall good person.
Jordan is survived by his loving mother, Jane Fass, his brother Ian and wife Ashley (Pagel) Fass, his three cherished nieces, whom he adored and brought him much laughter; Emery, Aubrie, and Autumn Fass, his maternal grandmother, Neva Rublee, many other relatives and his best friend, Hjalmer, his beloved and loyal cat. He was preceded in death by his father, James W. Fass, his mother's significant partner, Thomas J. Menzel, his maternal grandfather, Robert Rublee, and his paternal grandparents, Robert and Elizabeth Fass.
May you finally rest in peace, Jordan. There will not be a day that goes by that I won't think of you. You will be in my heart forever. Until we see each other again, I just want you to know how much I'll miss you and hope you knew how very much you were loved - mom
