Services for Jordan Adam McClenny, 19, of Athens, are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 5, 2023, at Hannigan Smith Funeral Home with Dan Rogers officiating.
Jordan McClenny passed away on August 27, 2023, in Kaufman, Texas.
Jordan Adam McClenny was born March 17, 2004, in Athens, Texas the son of Adam McClenny and Raisa (Kotenko) Bosley. He attended Athens Life Fellowship and Eastern Hills Church of Christ. Jordan attended high school at Athens High School and graduated Class of 2022. He played soccer for 7 years in his youth and worked at R&A Machine in Athens with his father during high school and the year after as a machinist. Jordan enjoyed fishing, playing golf, racquetball and messing with cars.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother Debra Sue Dykes.
Survivors include his father Adam McClenny of Athens; his mother Raisa (Kotenko) Bosley and husband Jonathan of Dallas; siblings, Caitlin McClenny of San Diego, Everly Bosley and Eden Bosley of Dallas; paternal grandfather Mike Pruitt and wife Vickie of Hawkins; maternal grandparents Wolfgang and Nina Schultheiss of Germany, Larry and Dianne Fortner of Larue; two uncles Duane Pruitt and wife Heather of Montana, Joey Ask of Athens; three aunts Deanne Boswell and husband Justin of Athens, Karol Ann Taylor and husband Aaron of Athens and Lida Bersanova Kieper of Germany and numerous cousins.
A visitation will be held on Monday, September 4, 2023, from 6:00 pm -8:00 p.m. at the Hannigan Smith Funeral Home.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Hannigan Smith Funeral Home family.
