Jordan Robert Blake Stapleton

 

Jordan Robert Blake Stapleton, 20, of Nebo, NC, was called home to Jesus on Sunday, July 23, 2023. Jordan was born to Kimberly Stapleton on February 4, 2003. He graduated from McDowell High School and was previously employed in construction with his brother Cody Mashburn.

 

Jordan loved fishing, playing video games, and camping with his siblings and cousins. He was preceded in death by grandfather, Sammy McLaughlin, Sr.; uncle, Sammy McLaughlin, Jr.; grandmother, Nadine Shelton; aunt, Angie Stapleton; and cousin, Frederick Badgero, III.

 

Left to cherish Jordan’s memory are his mother, Kim Stapleton; father, Charles McLaughlin; stepfather, Travis Shelton; grandparents, Bob and Sharyn Matson, Hubert Stapleton, Janet Alice McLaughlin, and Steve Shelton; sister, Katie McLaughlin; brothers, Noah Stapleton and Cody Mashburn; brother-in-law, Richard Wyatt; sister-in-law, Sheila Buckner; nephews, Lee Mashburn and Killian Wyatt; aunts, Tina Bagwell, Misty Stapleton, and Jamie Manning; great aunt, Donna Hudgins; and many cousins.

 

A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 28, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Beam Funeral Service. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. Burial will follow the service in the family cemetery.
