Jordan West Wheelwright
1984 ~ 2025
It is with shattered hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Jordan West Wheelwright. He passed away in the early morning of July 19, 2025.
Jordan was born on July 4, 1984, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Melanie Elizabeth Wheelwright and Jeffrey Dee Wheelwright, joining his two older brothers Marcus and Todd. He was and will always be our July 4th firecracker, keeping us on our toes. Jordan was always popular with many friends throughout school, and graduated from Cottonwood High School in 2003, later receiving his Associates degree from Salt Lake Community College. On January 16, 2007 Jordan became the very proud father of Gracie Noel Wheelwright and will always be her loving father. In 2020 Jordan met the love of his life and fiancé Amee Smith, moved to Heber, Utah with her, becoming a proud father figure for both Keihan and Emberlie, and eventually obtaining his general contractor's license and starting his own company Wheelwright Construction Co.
Jordan's compassion and love for others was so endless, he made every situation an enjoyable one because he couldn't stand to see others in pain or struggling. He had the biggest heart and was always there for everyone. Along with his undying love for his family and friends, Jordan had a passion for cooking, the outdoors, was an Eagle Scout, and loved constantly building things. Jordan was truly a survivor, overcoming many personal struggles throughout his life. He never gave up on himself, nor his family and friends.
Jordan was preceded in death by his brother Todd Patrick Wheelwright, and his grandparents; Myrna and Melvin Wright, Elaine and Kenneth Wheelwright. He leaves behind a trail of heartbreak with his best friend and fiancé Amee Smith and her children, Keihan (16) and Emberlie (10), daughter Gracie (18), mother and father Melanie and Jeffrey Wheelwright, and his brother Marcus Wheelwright along with his wife Mary Wheelwright and his two beloved nephews Evan (17) and Garrett Wheelwright (14). He will sorely missed by his furry side kick and best friend Rio, whom he raised from a puppy and will always be his 'baby boy'.
Ride in peace, our son, brother, father, and husband. Our hearts will never beat the same without you. We will hold on to your memory fondly forever and always.
Services were held previously on July 29. -
