Jorge Carino

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Jorge Luis Carino, Sr., at the age of 57, on July 1, 2024, under the compassionate care of Reading Hospital.
Jorge was a native of Manhattan, NY, born to the late German Carino and Carmen Cuadrado Carino. He spent his early years in New York, attending grade school before his family relocated to Reading. There, he completed his education at Reading High School, graduating in 1985. Jorge dedicated many years of his life to SFS Group USA, Inc. in Wyomissing, PA, where he worked as a machine operator, a job he held dear until his passing.
Known for his strong work ethic and unwavering dedication to his family, Jorge found joy in the simple pleasures of life, such as music and gaming, but his greatest joy always stemmed from the love he had for his family. Left to cherish his memory are his loving children: Yarila Carino, Ashley Carabajal, Jorge Luis Carino, Jr., Matthew Carino, Chelsea Carino, and Adriana Carino. He is also survived by his two sisters, Lydia Alvarez and Yolanda Carino, as well as his four grandchildren: Teresa Rodriguez, Liliania Torres, Adahlia Feliciano, and Kace Rodriguez. Jorge's legacy extends to his nephews, nieces, and a circle of dear friends who will miss him dearly.
In addition to his parents, Jorge was preceded in death by his siblings: Raymond Alvarez, Arnaldo Carino, Hector Carino, and Margarita Alvarez. May his memory live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Family and friends are welcome to join us for the service on Monday, July 8, 2024, at 12:00 pm at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, 739 Penn Ave West Reading. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 3-5 pm and Monday from 11 am-12 pm at the same location. Burial will take place at Laureldale Cemetery following the service.
