Jorge Yasin

Jorge Yasin, 59 of Old Bridge, New Jersey passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Old Bridge, New Jersey.
Born Tuesday, October 5, 1965 in Tucuman, Argentina, Jorge was the son of the late Manuel and Irma Yasin.
Jorge had many interests and passions in life. He began entertaining crowds at an early age. He traveled around Argentina as an actor with the Tucuman Municipal Comedy Theatre, expressing his passion for theatre and storytelling. His love of acting brought him to the United States, where he dreamed of playing Rocky's son in the Rocky series. He eventually settled in New York City. Jorge attended Wagner College, where he majored in Theatre. Jorge never lost his passion for entertaining a crowd, performing at several comedy clubs, and never missing an opportunity to sing karaoke.
Jorge began his family on Staten Island, after meeting Lauren Johnson in a Perkins cafe. He held many jobs, but being a skilled hairdresser was what he was most proud of. Jorge opened his first salon in Marlboro, NJ: Calesita. Jorge will be remembered for his charismatic spirit and his passion for life that affected his friends, family and strangers alike. He cooked a fantastic steak, enjoyed watching a good movie, and was always ready to party. Jorge had a heart of gold. His sense of humor and love will be deeply missed by all those that loved him in return.
Jorge was predeceased by the mother of his children, Lauren.
Jorge is survived by his loving children, Brian, Cristian, and Elena, and by his granddaughter Natalie.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at Michael Hegarty & John Vincent Scalia Home For Funerals and Cremation Service, 3377 US Highway 9, Old Bridge, New Jersey.
