José Manuel Garcia, age 75, of Orlando, Florida, was welcomed into the arms of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, August 8, 2025. His faith was the cornerstone of his life, and his greatest joy was sharing with others the hope found in Christ. Each morning, José began his day reading his Bible and multiple devotionals, drawing strength and wisdom from God’s Word. His favorite Scripture, “The Lord is my Shepherd” (Psalm 23:1), was not just a verse he quoted — it was a truth he lived by.
José met the love of his life, Sharon W. Garcia, in high school, and from that moment on, they walked life’s journey side-by-side. For 55 beautiful years, they shared laughter, love, faith, and countless treasured memories.
He was a devoted husband, a loving father, and a proud grandfather. José is survived by his wife, Sharon; their daughter, Cindy (Bob) Mae Spraker; their son, Eric (Cathy) Garcia; and his beloved grandchildren, Austin Garcia and Hailey Garcia. He prayed for them daily and delighted in encouraging them in the Lord.
Those who knew José will remember his warm smile and his unwavering desire for others to know the saving love of Jesus. Though his absence leaves a deep ache in our hearts, we rejoice in the blessed assurance that we will see him again in heaven, where faith becomes sight.
Friends and loved ones are invited to celebrate José’s life on Friday, August 22, 2025, with visitation from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., followed by a funeral serviceat 6:00 p.m., at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (Winter Park Chapel), 3806 Howell Branch Rd, Winter Park, Florida 32792.
A private graveside service for family will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at 1:00 p.m.
Flower color preference is white for the service.
José’s life was a living testimony of God’s love, and the seeds of faith he planted will continue to grow for generations. Today, we picture him in the presence of his Savior, hearing the words he longed for: “Well done, good and faithful servant.”
