Jose Nicolas Hernandez

Mr. Jose Nicolas Hernandez, age 78, of McMinnville, TN passed away on Tuesday, March 03, 2026 at his residence. He was born on January 01, 1948 in Guanajuato, MX. He enjoyed working as a nurseryman at Wanamaker Nursery for many years. He loved his family unconditionally and cherished every moment with them. He found peace in going to the river and listening to the calm water.

Survivors include his son Reyes Hernandez, daughters Magaly Hernandez, Maria Hernandez, and Victoria Hernandez, brother Catalino Ramirez, 11 grandchildren, and one great grandchild on the way! He is preceded in death by his parents Reyes Hernandez and Maria Almaguer Hernandez and son Cesar Hernandez.

Funeral service for Mr. Jose Hernandez is scheduled for 12:00 P.M. Friday, March 06, 2026 in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens in Tullahoma. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and again on Friday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at 12:00 P.M.
