Jose Hernandez Ojeda Sr., age 73, passed away on Thursday, July 04, 2024 in The Colony, Texas. Jose was born Monday, July 31, 1950 in Del Rio, Texas.
Proceeding him in passing was his mother, Paula Hernandez Ojeda; father, Jesus Lopez Ojeda; sister, Teresa Corona; and grandson Paul Ojeda.
Family members left to cherish his memory include his children: Paulita Earlene Ojeda of Dallas, Tx, and Jose Ojeda Jr. and son-in-law, Tharindu R. Hewa Magallagodage of The Colony; granddaughters: Crystal Gayle Ojeda, Monica Yvette Adame, Angelina Josefa Adame; great grandchildren: Miranda Earlene Rios, Jocelyn Rios, Dallas Ojeda, Oscar Martinez, Royal Martinez, Mavrick Ojeda, Princess Martinez, Beautiful Martinez, Alexis Martinez, Carlos Martinez, Leilani Damien, Anthony Damien; siblings: Gloria Guerrero, Jesse Ojeda, Esperanza Ojeda, Minerva Ojeda, Dora Elia Segoviano, Roberto Ojeda, Raul Ojeda, and Rolando Ojeda; Joe is also survived by many other close relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday from 8 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.
A Chapel Service is scheduled for Monday, July 8, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. in the Trinity Chapel of Faith. Burial will follow at San Felipe Cemetery. The following will serve as pallbearers: Raul (brother), Robert (brother), Rolando (brother), Modesto Segoviano (brother-in-law), Joe-Lee Ojeda (nephew) and Tony Ojeda (nephew).
