For over 40 years, Jose poured his heart into his construction business, building not just structures, but a reputation for excellence and integrity. His passion for his work was matched only by his love for his family, who will forever cherish his memory.
Jose was preceded in death by; his loving parents, Cleotilda and Valentin Ortiz; his siblings Raphaela and Philomino; his son Joshua Ortiz; and his in-laws Cecilia and Anastacio Jiron, Raymond, & Albert.
Jose is survived by his beloved wife, Margaret Ortiz of 45 years, father to Sheila (Leo), April (Matt), Victoria, and Jose (Tamara), and a cherished grandfather of 9. His extended family—including brothers, sisters, nephews, and nieces—will deeply miss his smile, warmth, humor, and generous spirit.
A Mass in celebration of Jose’s life will be held at St. Anne Parish on November 3, 2025, at 10:00 AM, followed by a reception at the Parish Hall.
Jose’s legacy lives on in the lives he touched and the love he gave so freely. He will be dearly missed.
