Natividad "Natalie" Ortiz, 83, of El Campo, TX, passed away on October 21, 2025. She was born on December 24, 1941, in Cameron, TX, to the late Jesus and Dominga Ortiz. Natalie retired with over 50 years in logistical support to companies such as Lockheed Martin, The Houston Post, Southwestern Bell, and Diversified Ceramics. She enjoyed going out to eat, watching old western movies, working in her garden, and doing puzzles. She liked to dance and listen to Mariachi music. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and keeping in touch with family with well-wishes and Happy Birthdays.
She is survived by her brothers, Julian and wife Rosa Ortiz, and Isabelle and wife Rose Ortiz; daughters Christina Ross and Marianna Guerrero, and son Crespin Guerrero Jr.; two granddaughters and three grandsons; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers William Oriz, Guadalupe Ortiz, Candelario "Candy" Ortiz, Steve Ortiz, Miguel Ortiz, and sisters Mary Gallardo, Susan Villafuerte, Juanita Diaz, and Carmen Torres.
Visitation will be 5-6 pm, and the Rosary will be at 6 pm on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at Triska Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 10 am on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church. Interment will be at Holy Cross Memorial Park.
Pallbearers are Crespin Guerrero Jr., Juan Ortiz, Joseph Ortiz, Larry Diaz, Anthony Ross, and Aaron Ross.
