I served under Captain Jose Pena in 1963-64 in Kitzingen, West Germany. I recall him as a very diligent army officer who "went by the book" when some others didn´t. He set me on a right path and evidently had a rewarding military career

Tio and Padrino Pepe, I will miss you. You made us proud. While traveling around the World, after confessing I was from Texas, I have been asked many times if I was related to "Joe Peña"
