Jose L Picasso
passed away peacefully with his family by his side at 333 am on
March 31,2025, at the age of 78.
He was the baby of his family.
He retired from the BCSD as
a custodian at Sierra Middle School.
He loved to walk and meet people. His favorite place was Las Vegas and he loved to gamble. He was the best grandpa you knew. You would always see him at any of his grandkids sporting events. His greatest joys were his daughters and grandkids.
Our dad was a simple man who always went the extra mile to help anyone.
He is survived by his daughter Rosa Madera (Luis), Limbania Sandoval (Elias) and Myrna Velasquez(Amando).
He is also survived by his greatest joys his grandkids Luis Madera (Veronica), Frankie Hur-
tado (Danika) Joseph Hurtado (Alissa Gar- za, Alia Madera (Antonio Mo- rales), Elias Sandoval Jr, Marcus Velasquez, Sofia Sandoval and his chiquito Noah Velasquez. He is also survived by 6 great grand- kids Luis Madera, Frankie Hurtado, Laila Hurtado, Santino Madera, Enzo Hurtado and Antonio Morales Jr. and the true love
of his life Maria Cuellar and his Brother
Francisco Picasso and countless nieces and nephews
He was able to live with his daughter Rosa and Luis Madera the last 2 1/2 years of his life. He endured a battle with Alzheimer's
but he won the race. The family would like to thank Ashley, Jessica, Liseth and Isabel who walked the entire walk to help so Rosa could work. They loved him like family. We would also like to thank Anna, Connie, Hoffman Hospice, Bristol Hospice, ADAKC
our nurses Michelle, Cheree.
