Our loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother, Jose "Tony" Ramos, returned home to his Heavenly Father on April 18, 2022. He was born on July 27, 1955 in Zacatecas, Mexico, to Roberto Ramos and Nieves Devora. Jose was the oldest of eleven children.
He met the love of his life, his soulmate, Cristina in 1993 and married on April 30, 1994, in San Fernando, California. They were preparing to celebrate their 28th wedding anniversary later this month.
Jose was a devoted family man and a dedicated employee who would give it his all. He had many hobbies he enjoyed. He enjoyed spending time outdoors doing yardwork around the house to make sure the yard looked beautiful and safe for his grandchildren, Luna (Lupita) and Armand Jr. (AJ), to come over to visit and play outside. His grandchildren were his pride and joy. He also enjoyed being a school bus driver for over 15 years in Los Angeles, California. When Jose moved to Utah in the fall of 2006, he was employed by Lifetime Products in Clearfield, Utah. Jose had just celebrated his 15th year anniversary with Lifetime earlier this year.
Jose is survived by his mother, Nieves; his wife, Cristina; children, Gabriela (Armand), Jose (Elizabeth), Nancy (Virgilio), Jose Jr; siblings, Roberto (Claudia), Alfredo, Rosa, Maria, Rubi, Silvia, Gloria, and his grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son, Miguel; father, Roberto, and siblings, Juan, Luis, and Ovidia.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 29, 2022 at 6:00 PM at Myers Mortuary, 5865 S. 1900 W., Roy, Utah. A viewing will be prior to services at 4:00-5:45 PM at the same location.
