Jose Guadalupe Ramos Jr., beloved Hijo, Hermano, Dad, and Tio. Better known as Nene, Big Joe, Pops, or Daddy, passed away on February 12, 2025 at the age of 50. He was born on January 10, 1975, in Del Rio, Texas to Jose Guadalupe Ramos Sr. and Maria del Carmen Maldonado.
Jose was a devoted family man, a loyal friend, and a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan. Whether he was cheering from his favorite chair, Aly and Nae's living room, or streaming the game to his phone, his passion for America's Team was undeniable.
He spent his life dedicated to being an electrician. Outside of work, he loved spending time with his kids whether that was taking them fishing, to the movies, making them a carne asada, or watching the Dallas Cowboys. His kindness, humor, and wisdom left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.
Jose is survived by his five children; Carmen, Alejandra, Jocelyn, Naomi, and Joseph; his grandchild, Enzo, and his six siblings, Julian, Alicia, Enrique, Angela, Ashley, and Amanda.
He was preceded in death by his Abuela Antonia Juarez, Abuela Maria Esther Alcala, Abuelo Guadalupe Ramos, and Abuelo Ricardo Maldanado.
A visitation will be held at Roberts - Martinez Funeral Home. The family requests that guests wear Dallas Cowboys colors or gear in his honor.
Flowers can be delivered to the funeral home.

There are no words that I can say that will make sense of such a sudden end to such a full life. My heart hurts so much for his family. He loved his kids more than anything in this world and was incredibly proud of each of them. He could talk for literal hours about them with a huge smile on his face. The happiest I´ve ever seen him was when he came back from his trip to meet his grandson Enzo. He had all 5 of his children and his grandson all together at once and told me it was the best feeling in the world for him.
I´ll cherish the memories of Jose making me laugh and all the hours of talking about nothing and everything all at once. Rest easy Jose.
