Jose Enrico "Ping" Rillo

Jose Enrico "Ping" Rillo, 73, of Vacaville, California, passed away on December 29, 2024.
Jose was born on August 5, 1951, in Manila, Philippines, to the late Mauro and Araceli Rillo. He graduated from Jose Rizal College with a degree in accounting. He immigrated to the United States in 1974, settling in California where he would build a life full of love, hard work, and dedication.
He proudly served as a Postal Service worker for 37 years, retiring on November 30, 2024, just one month before his passing. His dedication to his work and the people he served was a hallmark of his character.
Jose, or "Ping" as he was lovingly called, was a man who found joy in simple pleasures. He was an avid fisherman, a devoted fan of all sports especially basketball, and above all, a proud grandfather. He treasured the time spent with his six grandchildren-Mikhaila, Jaylee, Jru, Santino, Chandler, and Jordyn-and his family was always his greatest joy.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jennifer "Jeng"; children and their spouses, Joyce & Jay, James & Kay, Jeremy & Jenn, and Janella & Craig; and his cherished grandchildren. Jose was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A celebration of his life will be held on January 16, 2025, 9:30AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Vacaville Ca.
Ping's family and friends take comfort in knowing his memory will live on through the many lives he touched, especially the generations he leaves behind.
