Jose Rodriguez Alaniz, 37, of Sedalia, MO, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at his home. He was born on December 24, 1987, in La Piedad, Michoacán, Mexico, the son of Guillermo Rodriguez Granado and Maria De Paz Alaniz Alaniz, who preceded him in death.
Jose was known for his cheerful spirit and kind heart. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need and brought joy to those around him. He loved spending time with family and friends, often singing and cooking out at gatherings. Jose took great pride in his work as a restaurant server, where his warm personality and friendly smile touched many lives.
He is survived by eight beloved children, Abigail, Blanca, Guadalupe, Jose Jr., Javier, Ximena, Jose, and Joseph Rodriguez; one cherished granddaughter, Alena Sebastian Rodriguez; a brother, Diego Rodriguez; a sister, Blanca Rodriguez; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins who will miss him deeply.
A family celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
Cremation arrangements are under the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
José Rodríguez Alaniz, de 37 años, de Sedalia, MO, falleció pacíficamente el jueves 16 de octubre de 2025, en su hogar. Nació el 24 de diciembre de 1987 en La Piedad, Michoacán, México, hijo de Guillermo Rodríguez Granado y Maria de Paz Alaniz Alaniz, quienes le precedieron en la muerte.
José fue conocido por su espíritu alegre y su gran corazón. Siempre estaba dispuesto a ayudar a quien lo necesitara y alegraba la vida de quienes lo rodeaban. Le encantaba pasar tiempo con su familia y amigos, especialmente cantando y preparando comidas en las reuniones familiares. José sentía un gran orgullo por su trabajo como mesero en los restaurantes donde laboró; su amabilidad y sonrisa sincera dejaron huella en muchos.
Le sobreviven ocho queridos hijos: Abigail, Blanca, Guadalupe, José Jr., Javier, Ximena, José y Joseph Rodríguez; una nietecita muy amada, Alena Sebastián Rodríguez; su hermano, Diego Rodríguez; su hermana, Blanca Rodríguez; y numerosos tíos, tías y primos que lo recordarán con cariño.
La familia anunciará más adelante la fecha de una celebración de vida en su honor.
