Madera, California. Born on September 27, 1986, to proud parents Jose and Evangelina Torres, Jose lived a life marked by love, dedication, and an unwavering spirit of helpfulness.
Jose grew up in Madera, where he attended local schools and graduated from high school, laying a strong foundation for his future. He went on to work for Mission Bell Winery and later for CP Harvesting as an equipment operator, a role he held for a decade. His colleagues knew him as a hardworking and reliable member of the team, always ready to lend a hand or share a laugh.
A true sports enthusiast, Jose's passion for the Raiders was unmatched. He relished every game, cheering on his team with fervor and joy. His love for MMA and UFC fighting was equally strong, and he rarely missed a match, often gathering with friends to watch the fights. Jose was also known for his handyman skills. There wasn't a broken toy or a household issue he couldn't fix, earning him the affectionate title of the family's go-to repairman.
Jose's love for his family was evident in everything he did. He was a loving son who adored his mother's cooking, with her enchiladas, chicken mole, and birria being some of his favorite dishes. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Calletano and Margarita Torres, his Nana Maria Morales and his fur baby Gorda whose memory he held dear. He also leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins who will miss him dearly.
