In loving memory of our father Mauricio, who passed away on Tuesday August 29th, 2023. Mauricio is survived by his children, Steven Gregory Zamudio (Stephanie), and Annie Megan Zamudio. His grandchildren Mila and Stevie Jr. My father was a great man however very stubborn and stuck in his own ways. Nonetheless, he was a good human being, very supportive, hard working, very funny to be around with, and also giving to those in need. As his youngest daughter, I really admired how my father would always find a solution whenever I came across an obstacle. He was my problem solver. My father was very handy around the house. He would even manage to fix my broken toys that seemed irreparable and irreplaceable just to put a big smile on my face. He will surely be missed dearly by all those who knew him. I will definitely miss my father and the times we spent together watching sports all the while I had no interest in them, and yet did so just for him. He was a BIG CHICAGO CUBS FAN. His gentle voice, humor, and manner in consulting me, will forever hold a place in my heart. Anyone who knew our father would know that he adored his children and grandchildren despite distance and would defend our family name.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 12 noon Saturday, September 9th, 2023 at St. Agnes Church of Bohemia Catholic Church 2651 S Central Park Ave, Chicago IL, 60623.

What I've learned from my dad is to give from your heart and help others when they need it the most.

My dad and I enjoyed watching movies together, going out downtown, take long drives, walks to the park, and lots of shopping.
