Joey was my first cousin. Has dad and my mom were brother and sister. I can't believe I'm just hearing this news. I'm sad I'm shocked. I'm sorry joey I would of been at your service.

When I first moved to Vass, Joe and Jo Ann were among the first to welcome me to the neighborhood. As I was in the building process, they allowed me to use their guest house to keep my commuting back to Raleigh to a minimum. Though they moved back to Massachusetts, they still cast a shadow here.
My thoughts and prayers are with Jo Ann and the whole Agresta family. Sending love and comfort.

Shocked, was my reaction to this terrible news. Joe was a High School friend, and we commuted together for 4 years, attending Boston College. Recently, he would attend dinner get togethers with 9 other High School graduates, driving for over an hour, to enjoy laughter, memories, and sharing each others' life stories. I am going to miss him, greatly. Jo Ann and his family will be in our thoughts and prayers.

We cannot believe Joe is gone. He was so full of life. He loved his family, friends and enjoyed cooking Italian food. He made his own pasta, who does that? Joe! He was a wonderful husband, father, papa, and friend! We will miss Joe and miss hearing him say Mangia!

Joe was a great guy and great golfer right or left handed. Enjoyed our golf outing to Williamsburg, Myrtle Beach and Pinehurst. I'll never forget when Joe called me one afternoon from Boston and asked me if I wanted to play 9 holes at Pine Needles when he flew in that day. If Joe did not call me I would have never got a "Hole in One ". I will miss him, such a good man.

I remember Joe Agresta when he worked at BSC Group, which I still work at. He hired me for the accounting department. Such a sweet person and very friendly. I send all my love and prayers to him and his family/

Joe was a super guy! Smart and down to earth always welcoming and supportive. Loved his family and friends to the ends of the earth. there are not enough positive words to describe this outstanding man. I will cherish the wonderful memories of time spent together laughing, hanging out, playing golf and enjoying each moment. You are missed.

Joe, you were always a great boss, I enjoyed working for you for many years. You were always the first one to say "where are the menus, let´s order lunch for the office". Rest in peace, friend.

Joe, you were a good friend for over 60 years. We had some good memories. You were also a fine person giving yourself to others and charities. Your family is as proud of you as you were proud of them.I was as shocked and saddened as was anyone who knew you. I already miss you. Love, Greg Allen
