He attended school and graduated from Norlina High School in Norlina, North Carolina in 1976.
Following graduation, he moved to White Plains, New York, where he held many positions including security guard for the White Plains Mall, Westchester County Center and Grassland Hospital. He enlisted in the U.S. Army and served for four years. He moved back to Yonkers, NY and eventually back to White Plains, New York.
He leaves to mourn one sister, Rosa Lee Alston and one brother Melvin Alston (Gwendolyn), both of White Plains, New York.
He will be missed by Donna Lee who shared his life for over 20 years.
Four sisters predeceased him in death, Helen Mae Hunter, Elnora Holdip, Emma Marie Rowlett and Veonie Brooks. Four brothers Lenton Sr., Willie Anthony, Ezell and Donnell Alston.
He will be missed by his many nephews and nieces.
