Joe telling us about his duties in Vietnam.
My Grandchildren are researching Veterans in their family and I shared this obit with their mother. We are so proud to know him and miss his whole family

Our thoughts, Terry's and mine, are with the family. Very sad to get this news. Joe was a classmate and childhood friend. We didn't see each other as adults until a recent class reunion. Joe was nice kid, peaceful, smart, generous and funny. Meeting again at our reunion so many decades later I could see he had not changed.

Chris and Family,
The sad news reached me just now and I am deeply touched. Please know that you are in our hearts and prayers. Joe and I met in grade school at St. Anne's in 1959, went to high school and college together. I played soccer with him at the Abbey and remember some wonderful times with him. I will cherish my memories of him and you all. Love and hugs, John Mullis BAC 1970

To Chris, Peter,Tracey,John,Cindy,James, and all the grandchildren: please accept my prayers and sympathy for your loss. What a beautiful smile Joe had. I can see his resemblance to both his mother, Nora, and his father, Jimmy, whom I remember so well. May God bless all of you, and keep your most precious memories always fresh.

Joe was a great member of our OCS class at Ft. Benning, GA in 1969. Our reunions gave our class an opportunity to catch up with this wonderful guy and fellow veteran. We will miss you Joe and will toast your memory!
"Airborne OCS, you look at Joe, you see the best!" "May God hold you in the palm of his hand!"

To Chris and family,
Sorry to learn of Joe's passing. We shared many good years at CCHS, Belmont Abbey and BSA Troop 162. Lost touch over the years but always heard good things about his accomplishments. My best to Chris and family from an old friend.
