Joseph J. Bianchini Jr.

Joseph J. Bianchini Jr. of Bridgewater, passed away on October 31, 2023 at the age of 89.
Joseph was a true family man; he was the rock that held his family together. Joseph was a United States Army Veteran who proudly served his country. Working for Ocean Spray Cranberries for over 23 years, Joseph retired as the Maintenance Manager. He had a passion for playing golf and worked at Olde Scotland Links golf course in Bridgewater for many years. He loved to fish with his family, especially at Herring Pond. He will be remembered for being a loving and devoted family man who was proud of his Italian heritage. Joseph will be deeply missed by all of his family and friends; we will cherish the memories of him always.
Beloved husband of 54 years to the late Barbara Bianchini (Hill). Loving companion of Joan Casey of Swansea. Devoted father of Deborah Metcalfe and her husband Jeff of Plymouth, Michele Webber and her partner Ron Sampson of Bridgewater, Ron Bianchini and his wife Marilynn of Taunton and David Bianchini and his partner Helene Perez of Colorado. Adored Nonno of Melissa, Joshua, Ashley, Andrew, Greg, Joey, Trevor, Brianna, Mckenzie and Justin. Cherished great Nonno of Savannah, Ava, Giuliana, John, Christopher, Emma, Tylar, Zachary and Stella. Dear son of the late Joseph J. Bianchini and Zoele Bianchini (Botti). Caring brother of Dora Stevens, Nora Perry, Gloria Giuliotti, and the late Laura Landers. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated, for family and friends, on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at 10 AM in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Bridgewater. A burial service will follow at the St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery.
