Joseph Brulato, 90, of Nutley, passed away on April 4, 2025. He was born in Nutley, and a lifelong resident. Joseph was the son of the late Frank and Dominica (Ferrara) Brulato. He retired as a beautician, as the owner of Jon's House of Beauty in Passaic, NJ. He loved his family, enjoyed walking, playing cards and bocce ball with his friends at the park, was known as the human backboard in ping pong and liked painting. Joseph is survived by his loving wife Patricia (Sabadash) of 63 years, his children Joseph and his wife Donna, Patricia Tice and her husband Ken, Michael, John and his wife Mary Ann. He also has ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his siblings Rachael, Mary, Minnie, Carmella, Sam, Frank and Anthony.
The funeral will be Monday, April 7, 2025, at 9:30AM from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, (www.swbrownandson.com), 267 Centre St., Nutley.
The funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30AM at Holy Family Church, Nutley.
The interment will follow at Lodi Cemetery, Lodi, NJ.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Sunday, April 6, 2025, from 2:00PM – 4:00PM.
