Joseph A. Bustamante, age 66, a resident of Belen, NM, passed away peacefully on March 18, 2024. Cremation has taken place, and an Interment will be held at a later date. Joseph is survived by his siblings; Geraldine "Geri" Palmer, Gale Mirabal, Eliene "Peanut" Maez (Gilbert), Tommy Bustamante (Gina), and Diane Meintzer (Ed); his favorite aunt, Connie Jaynes; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Joseph had many nicknames such as "Brother" and "Elvis". Brother would spend his time singing songs. He missed his mother dearly, you would find him visiting her at her place of rest. I´m very sorry to hear about Joseph. It´s been many years since I last saw him but his indelible laugh is still etched in my memory. 4th period in Mr Corrigan´s class and hanging out at Anna Becker park are especially vivid. RIP Brother.
