Joseph Collins Obituary
Joseph Allen Collins, aged 46, of Cross Plains, Tennessee, passed away on August 10, 2025. Born on April 13, 1979, in Nashville, Tennessee, Joseph is remembered for his warmth and kindness.
Joseph was preceded in death by his father, Sammy L. Collins, of Cross Plains. He is survived by his devoted mother, Wanda Collins, and his sister, Deidra McKnight, both of Cross Plains, as well as his sister, Felecia Cox (Jeff) of Florence, Alabama. He leaves behind cherished family members, including a niece, a nephew, aunts, uncles, and many cousins.
A man of simple pleasures, Joseph had a talent for making strangers feel welcome. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards, and watching football games. In his later years, he made significant contributions to the recovery community, leaving a positive impact on those around him. The family expresses their heartfelt gratitude to Linsey Tinsley of Turning Point Recovery in Nashville for her support and compassion.
A celebration of Joe's life was held on Saturday, August 23, 2025. Joseph’s spirit and kindness will always be remembered by those who knew him.
