Joseph Connon Obituary

Joseph was born in Alpena on May 22, 1955, to the late William and Alice (Moleski) Connon. He was a member of All Saints Parish, enjoyed watching old westerns on TV, various outings, and time he spent with family. Joe's trademark jester of "shooting" his imaginary gun was his show of love and affection. He will be remembered affectionately as the "King of the Walnut Home" where he has resided most of his life. The family is deeply grateful to all of NEMCMH staff that have loved and cared for Joe over all of the decades.
Surviving are his 4 brothers, Ron (Sue) Connon, Patrick (Michelle) Lyons, Paul (Tracey) Lyons, David Lyons; 2 stepsiblings, Debbie (Bruce) Murphy, Greg Lyons; numerous nieces and nephews.
Joe was preceded in death by his stepfather, Merton Lyons and brother Michael Connon.
Visitation will take place at the Bannan Funeral Home on Thursday, January 2, 2025, from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12 p.m. with Deacon Michael Roy officiating.
Interment: Holy Cross Cemetery
