Joseph Alexander Conway, age 89, passed away September 23, 2025.
Born September 22, 1936, in Detroit, Michigan, to Adelaide (Goulette) and Charles Conway. Joseph lived a life defined by devotion to family, kindness, and love.
For 62 beautiful years, he was the beloved husband of Dolores Patricia (Molski) Conway, with whom he shared a lifetime of joy, laughter, and unwavering partnership. Together, they built a family rooted in love and strength.
Joseph was the proud and loving father of Anne (Thomas) Cray, Patricia Conway, Maria (Jeff) Whittle, and his legacy of care and guidance will forever live on in their hearts. He was a cherished grandfather to Rebecca (Erik) Bacheldor, Julia Cray, Edmund (Alexis) Kaechle, Natalie Cray, and Anna Whittle. Joseph was also the doting great-grandfather to Bryce Bacheldor, Jackson Rodick, Ava Rodick, Easton Bacheldor, and Carson Bacheldor.
Those who knew Joseph will remember him not only for the love he gave his family, but also for his warmth, gentle humor, and steady presence. His life was a testament to dedication, generosity, and the quiet strength that made him the cornerstone of his family.
He leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to shine brightly in the lives of all who were blessed to know him.
Visitation will be Friday, September 26, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Wysocki & Wilk Funeral Home, 29440 Ryan Road, Warren. Visitation will continue on Saturday, September 27, from 9:30 a.m. until the 10:00 a.m. Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Grace Parish (formerly St. Cletus), 26300 Ryan Road, Warren, Michigan. Interment will follow the funeral at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township, Michigan.
