Joseph Cosby, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away on September 9, 2025, in Evansville, Indiana. He was born on April 9, 1956, in Henderson, Kentucky, to the late Joseph Cosby and Lois Ophelia McDole.

A proud High School Graduate, Joseph served his country honorably in the United States Navy for two years after completing his high school education. Following his military service, he dedicated his working life to Toyota Motor Manufacturing Company.

Joseph's life was marked not only by his professional endeavors but also by his family, who were his greatest treasures. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his cherished daughter, Tiffany J. Sledge.

He leaves behind his devoted wife, Vanessa Cosby, who stood by his side during his illness. His grandchildren—Daiyauna Waddell, Mya Easley, Zion Cross, and Zaire Cross, as well as a host of other grandchildren who brought him immense joy and pride, along with his two great-grandchildren.
