Joseph G. "Joe" Costa

Joseph G. Costa, known affectionately as Joe, passed away on Tuesday February 17, 2026. Joe was an enigmatic figure who loved his family, friends that became family, his dogs, cars, and sports. Joe is survived by his wife Maggie, son Matt, brother Perrie, sisters Tony and Michelle, his Daughter-in-law Alluria and her mother Christina or as he called her his "family-in-law". Joe loved and supported friends and those of his son over the years and in turn, Joe was loved and supported in his last days. More than 50 people filled his hospital room and hallway to tell him how much he meant to them. He was preceded in death by his parents Ernest and Josephine Costa and his brother John. His laughter and light will be missed greatly by the people he touched. No sideline or car show will be the same. Flowers can be sent prior to services which will be held at Calvary Cemetery and Funeral Center on Thursday, February 26 at 2pm.
