Joseph Cucchi Obituary

He was born in Chester, graduated from Chester High, and lived most of his life in Delaware County.
"Joe" lived a life full of service.
He enlisted in the Army around the age of 25 and served 3 years in South Korea as a dispatcher at an oil facility. After leaving Korea he was briefly stationed at Fort Knox, where he spent the rest of his military career before being honorably discharged from service.
After serving in the military he spent some time performing in an a cappella group, and was a longtime tool and die maker before his retirement.
Throughout his life, Joseph was dedicated to serving his family, especially in caring for his mother, nieces & nephews.
He is predeceased by his father, Nunziato Cucchi; mother, Marie Cucchi; and his sister, Andrea Cucchi.
Joe is survived by his brothers, John Cucchi and Gerald Cucchi; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation: Friday, January 10, 2025 from 10:00-11:00AM at the Bateman Allen Funeral Home, 4220 Edgmont Ave. Brookhaven, PA.
Funeral Service: Friday, January 10, 2025 at 11:00AM at the funeral home.
Burial will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon, PA.
