Roberta May "Bobbie" Cucchi

Roberta "Bobbie" May Cucchi, 70, loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away at home on February 3, 2023 in the presence of her husband of 40 years.
A lifetime resident of Upland Borough, Bobbie was well known and loved by many within her community. She had countless friends and acquaintances whom she met over her lifespan.
Bobbie devoted many years serving as a lunchroom mother at Our Lady of Charity school in Brookhaven. Whether it was on the schoolyard or within her community, she always looked after the children of others and cared for them as if they were her own.
She later became employed at Brookhaven K-Mart and could be seen most evenings working behind the jewelry counter, folding clothes in the men's department, or goofing off with her beloved coworkers.
Bobbie enjoyed many things in life; among them were her love of cooking, crafting, taking pictures, and of course connecting with her extended family on Facebook.
Everyone who knows Bobbie May knows that her favorite part of life, the part that she was most proud of, was her family – especially her children and grandchildren.
She was a selfless human being who always put others first, wanting above all for everyone to feel loved, accepted and welcomed. Her ability to love was immense and unconditional, and it will be sorely missed.
Bobby was predeceased by her, Mother: Mary E. Lowe, Father: Wilbur Lowe, Sister: Virginia A. Lowe, and Son: Daniel J. Vay
She is Survived by her, Husband: Gerald P. Cucchi, Children: David M. Vay (Dawn), Christina M. Leary (Daniel), Ryan M. Cucchi (Reese), Angela R. Cucchi (Eric). Siblings: William J. Lowe (Mary), Terrie L. Shepard, Grandchildren: Daniel D. Vay, Kayla N. Vay, Morgan M. Vay, Mia M. Vay, Gianna C. Vay, Rylee E. Cucchi, Giuliani N. Cucchi, Vitaliana R. Cucchi, and Great Grandchild, Asher Vay-Edelblute. Also surviving are her 2 Aunts and many cousins, nieces and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Friday, February 10, 2023 from 9:30-10:45am am at Our Lady of Charity Church 231 Upland Road, Brookhaven, PA 19015, followed by her funeral mass at 11:00am.
