Knowing every child´s name in the school when they entered 7th grade. Also, we were opposing coaches in youth girls softball. Great coach, wonderful principal.

Mr. D was my science teacher in 8th grade. He was special to all the students because he was kind to all. He helped us raise money & took us on 3 trips for several days each, which are some of my best tween memories. We camped, explored caves, canned, stayed in cabins in Virginia. He was the best.

Mr "D" was a great story teller, a master of stuffing marshmallows in his mouth, a lover of "Country Roads" by John Denver, a singer (and dancer) of "Father Abraham" - but most of all was his love for his family and students (like me) who taught us how to be better people by bringing joy to others. The world and I will miss him dearly!

Such a memorable teacher. He had a very positive impact during my time with him. He is the epitome of an outstanding teacher. Rest in peace Mr. "D"

Mr D was my basketball coach in 9th grade year at Westbrook. I will never forget how positive he was on the court. Never a negative thing to say to any player.
