Joseph Frederick Drabik, age 72, of Havertown, PA, passed away on May 13, 2023. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Andrew Drabik and Anne Toland (nee Lamb).
At the age of 18 he enlisted in the United States Coast Guard, where he was stationed in San Francisco, CA and New London, CT. Upon leaving the Coast Guard he came back to Pennsylvania and entered the mechanic industry, which led him to FedEx where he became the Senior Vehicle Tech in the heavy diesel truck fleet until he retired. Upon retiring he joined Lansdowne Fire Police, Joseph was a true service man.
Joseph loved the ocean and being on the water, but Ocean City, NJ held a special place in his heart. He loved being around his grandchildren and attending their various activities and sporting events.
Joseph was the beloved husband of Susan Drabik (nee August); loving father of Jennifer DiBona (David) and Joseph Drabik, Jr. (Angela); adoring grandfather of Max DiBona, Kylie DiBona, Gianna DiBona, and Arianna Drabik; caring brother of Eileen Snyder (Barry) and the late Thomas and Mark Drabik.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 9:30-11:00 AM on Monday, June 5, 2023 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082, followed by his Funeral Service at 11:00 AM.
