Joseph Earl Eberle, a devoted follower of the Lord, passed away on August 11, 2025, at the age of 92, at the Robley Rex VA Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. Born on April 2, 1933, in Eminence, Kentucky, Joseph lived a full life marked by love, creativity, and service.
Joseph was an Air Force veteran, proudly serving his country and stationed in England, where fate led him to meet his beloved wife, Joan Hosier Eberle. Their love story spanned an incredible 72 years, a testament to their commitment to each other and their family. Joseph was a longtime employee of the BF Goodrich Chemical Company, where he worked as a Chemical Operator until he retired.
Throughout his life, Joseph embraced a multitude of interests and hobbies. He was not only a dedicated husband and father, but also a jack of all trades; his skills in carpentry, painting, and photography showcased his artistic spirit. He also enjoyed traveling with Joan and their many friends.
Joseph's family was his pride and joy. He is survived by his loving wife, Joan, his daughter Elaine Rawlings, and his son Michael Eberle (Carmen). He also leaves behind his cherished siblings, Jean Mc Phearson, Lois Turner, and Emma Harris. His legacy continues through his granddaughters, Rachel Rawlings, Jo Anna Stillwell, and Mariah Gramlin, as well as his great-grandchildren Avery, Addison, Alex, and Elle, and his great-great-grandchildren Luca, Aubre, and Enzo.
Joseph is preceded in death by his parents, Lewis E. Eberle and Annetta Stangle-Harvey, brothers, 'Buddy' Eberle and Jerry Harvey, who surely welcomed him with open arms.
