Joseph “Joe” Evans, born July 3, 1966, passed away on December 13,
2025. He was born in Medford, Oregon to Vivian Beacham and Sonny
Gartin, and spent most of his life in Spokane, Washington. Joe was
raised by Vivian and Norm Evans, both of whom played a significant
role in shaping the amazing man he became.
A true jack of all trades, Joe built a life through hard work,
curiosity, and a willingness to take on new challenges. He found great
purpose in helping others and would share his knowledge and skills
with anyone who needed it. His easy-going nature, kindness, and
generosity drew people to him and left lasting impressions. A steady
presence, Joe was a source of comfort and strength to friends and
family alike.
In his free time, Joe enjoyed tinkering around in his garage and
working on home and car projects. He found peace in spending time
outdoors including camping, hunting, and off-roading. With Joe, no
invitation was ever needed; his door was always open, and everyone was
welcome. He created an incredible community of family and friends,
though his most important and treasured accomplishment was being a
father, an accomplishment he carried with deep pride, devotion, and
love.
Joe is survived by his beloved wife, Sandra Evans; his loving mother,
Vivian Evans; his children, Ryan Evans, Jeremy Evans, Tiffany Vierra,
and Trinity Evans; his many grandchildren whom he loved and cherished
greatly; and countless other family members and friends.
Joe’s presence left a lasting imprint on countless lives, and his love
will continue to be felt through the memories he shared and the people
he held close. A funeral service honoring and celebrating Joe’s life
will be held on December 28th, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Riplinger Funeral
Home in Spokane, Washington.
