Joseph A. Garon, of Weldon Spring , MO, passed away Thursday, February 27, 2025 at the age of 93. Beloved husband of 68 years to Joanna Garon; cherished son of the late William and Marie Gawronski; devoted father of Jeffrey Garon, Chris (Trish) Garon and Lisa Garon Mikesell; loving grandfather of Taylor (Richard), Joseph, Jake, David, Christopher, Nicholas and Alyssa; treasured great-grandfather of Dean, Nate and Willow; dear brother of Robert (the late Charlene) Gawronski, Peter (Donna) Gawronski, the late William (Carol survives) Gawronski and the late Gregory Gawronski.
Joseph proudly and honorably served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He was also an American Legion member and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cottleville.
Big Joe was an avid outdoorsman, especially golfing and fishing. He was devoted to his family and dearly enjoyed his time spent with his family and grandchildren. Joseph was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Memorials may be made in Joseph's name to St Jude Children's Research Hospital.
