I was Joe's roommate at University of Cincinnati in 1970. I left college after two quarters and moved out of Cincinnati for a while. I always wondered what happened to Joe. He was an important person in my life. I too remember his dry wit, and focus on that which mattered. Our personalities were quite different. I deeply regret not staying in touch but also am pleased to hear his life was productive, not only professionally, but as man. God bless you Joe. Hope to see you in the great beyond

Very sorry to hear of Joe's passing. I am forever grateful for Joe's investment in my professional life, for everything that he taught me.

I worked with Joe at Synovus Bank in Palm Harbor. He was such a great person and we often spoke about books we were reading. He recommended the The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo series to me. He will be missed.
