Joseph T. Greco

Joseph T. Greco, age 69, died peacefully on December 5, 2016 at Avow Hospice in Naples, Florida. Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, Joe attended St. Edwards University in Austin, Texas, where, while earning a degree in accounting, he met and subsequently married Mary Goett, the love of his life for 46 years. He and Mary resided in Chicago, where Joe was employed as an accountant by several firms, until their move to Naples in 1999.
Joe was a lifelong member of the Knights of Columbus, serving as Treasurer in the Lansing, Illinois K of C Council #3540. In Naples, Joe and Mary have been active members of St. Agnes Roman Catholic Parish.
In addition to Mary, Joe is survived by his Aunt, Virginia Gallichio (wife of the late Frank Gallichio) of Calumet City, Illinois; sisters-in-law, Barbara Goett, Linda Goett Collins (husband John and their family); brothers-in-law, Edward Goett (wife Barbara), James Goett (wife Lucy), Stephen Goett (wife Carol), and their families; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, cousins; along with many other extended family and friends.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Dorothy and Vincent, and his sister, Judith Taylor, as well as numerous uncles and aunts.
The family would like to thank the staff of the North Wing of Avow Hospice for their excellent care and compassion.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at 11:00 am in the Chapel at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 7775 Vanderbilt Beach Road, Naples. Rev. Jan Antonik will be the celebrant. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to your favorite charity.
