Joseph Leon Greene was born to Dorothy Wires and Louis Greene on April 22, 1964 in Bedford, Indiana. He grew up in Phoenix, Arizona and attended Madrid Elementary school and West High School, graduating in 1982. Joseph attended ASU, earning a Bachelor Degree in Education in 1993 and later received his Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership in 1996; spending 30 years in teaching and administration.
In 1988, Joseph met his late wife Leslie MacNair Greene, married in 1989, and had two beautiful daughters. In 2021, Joseph met Karla Torres whom became his travel companion and his wife.
Joseph is preceded in death by both parents, his brother James Greene, and his late wife Leslie MacNair Greene. He is survived by his wife Karla Torres, his two daughters Ashley Greene, Kayla Crowell, son-in-law Colten Crowell, granddaughter Paislee Crowell, grandson Coleman Crowell, brother Michael (Trudy) Greene, and his dog Ziggy.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, September 20, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Whitney & Murphy Bueler Mortuary, 14 W. Hulet Drive, Chandler, AZ 85255.
