It is with heavy hearts we share with you that Joe went home to his Heavenly Father on March 1, 2025 in his home with his wife of 10 years by his side and holding his hand. Joe was a Vietnam Marine Veteran. He retired as Funeral Director from Wrenn, Clarke, & Hagan Funeral Home in Roanoke Rapids, NC. 

Joe is survived by his loving wife and best friend Deborah Landen Hagan, two daughters & their husbands, Angie & Scott Pearsall, Whitney & Brent Powers, three grandsons, Tyler Carpenter, Weston and Bentlee Powers, special niece and nephew, Michelle & Chris Imber, two great nieces, Ashley Fennell Rockwell & her husband, Chase, Taylor Fennell & her special friend, Hunt Van Dam, special extended family, Geff & Demetria Love, Frank & Shonda Snider. 

A special thank you to Cheryl Mcphaul and Jackie James of Companion Care Plus for all the care, love, and friendship given to Joe and his wife during his illness. Per Joe’s wishes there are no services planned at this time.
