Joseph Gabriel Harris Melendez, born on February 28, 2003, in Washington, D.C., passed away on July 6, 2025. At the young age of 22, Joseph touched many lives and his absence leaves a profound void in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
Joseph was dearly loved by all who knew him and will be missed always. His warm spirit and kind nature left a lasting impression on friends and family alike. He cherished his relationships and the bonds he formed with others, which are a testament to the love he shared throughout his life.
He is survived by daughters: Jailee Harris and Jaicee Harris; his mother, Alexandria Sade Harris Narain; stepfather, Ayudhia Narain Jr., and his brothers, Adrien Richardson and Ayudhia (Moo) Narain III, as well as his sister, Aishani Narain, all of whom reside in Upperco, MD. His family extends to his beloved grandmother, Pink Love, from Baltimore, MD, and his grandfathers, Stephen Redix of Little Rock, AR, and Nathaniel Brown of Little Rock, AR. He is also survived by his grandmother, Cynthia Brown, from Little Rock, AR, his father, Daunte´ Brown, and his sister, Destiny Brown, both from Little Rock, AR. Additionally, he is remembered by his great-grandmother, Constance Redix, also from Little Rock, AR.
As we mourn the loss of Joseph, we celebrate his life and the joy he brought to those around him. His legacy will be carried on through the love of his family and friends.
