Our hearts are heavy to announce the passing of our brother and uncle Joe; who entered into the kingdom of heaven to reunite with his beloved mother on her birthday, Saturday, October 5th 2024 after a long battle with his health. Joseph age 57, was born January 9th, 1967 to mother Carol Austin and father Fred Hibbard. Joey was their fourth and youngest child. Joey was his mother's close company all his life. He shared a special bond with his mother Carol. He enjoyed spending much of his time with her and his grandmother Mabel Austin. They enjoyed traveling and visiting casinos to play slot machines. Joey also loved the Lord and enjoyed going to church. Christian rock and gospel music brought him a special comfort. Joseph was given much joy from his many pets over the years. Joey is deeply missed by his sisters Tina (Michael) Hazen and Helena (Danny) Hibbard. He had many nieces and nephews including Nina (Dave) Swarthout, Kristen (Adam) Tuminello, Tommy Neily, Sarah Starbuck, Jacob (Carrie) Hibbard and Jana Hibbard, whom all have fond memories of him. Joey was also blessed with several great nieces and nephews who all warmed his heart. Joseph was greeted in heaven by his brother, Wesley Hibbard and nephew Michael Neily, whom both passed prior. "But, as it is written, 'What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him."
1 Corinthians 2:9. Private services for family and close friends held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park where Joe will be laid to rest with his beloved mother Carol.
